Meet the Trainers
Owner / Head Trainer
Matt Keene
Matt has been a coach and trainer for over 10 years, working with a diverse range of clients including middle and high school athletes, collegiate athletes, emergency services professionals, and members of the general population. His extensive experience has led him to adopt a dynamic approach to training, one that considers not only physical training variables but also the biopsychosocial factors that influence performance. When he’s not training, Matt enjoys reading on a variety of topics, taking long walks with his wife and their four dogs, playing music, and indulging in great food.

Owner / Head Trainer
Kim Keene
Growing up, Kim was extremely invested in competitive sports, so she's always appreciated being an athlete and feeling strong and capable. Following her soccer career at Western, Kim fell in love with weight training. The confidence that she gained through her strength pursuits transferred to so many other aspects of her life, which inspired her to help others reap the same benefits. Kim's goal is to help as many women as possible feel empowered under a barbell. More importantly, Kim wants to help teach women to value their strength and feel proud of their bodies for what they can do, rather than for just how they look.
